Yak Media is the University of Newcastle’s only student-run media publication. We’re operated by UON students, for UON students.
Students at Yak Media get experience in reporting, writing, pitching stories, promotion, media production, and we have a whole lot of fun too.
So if you’ve got a knack for writing, or want to gain media experience, join us as a contributing member. For five bucks. Yes, that’s half a coffee (pretty much).
