The University of Newcastle have managed to take out the Eastern University Games Championships on their home turf in early July, winning overall and taking home more than half the sports on offer.
Out of the 15 sports over the three day university games, Newcastle (NCLE) took out an astonishing nine gold medals, four silver and four bronze.
A star studded line up from all across the games competed for NCLE, from regional reps to even Australian representative players.
