We are now well into winter and it is only going to get colder. One of the best ways to stay warm (and healthy) during the winter months is by putting your cooking apron on and whipping up some delicious soup.
Soup can be a cheap, easy and filling alternative to other foods, especially if you add bread on the side. Another bonus, you can cook a huge batch and freeze it for later, or even earn some brownie points with your friends and family by giving them a big bowl of yummy soup to warm their souls.
