Vice Chancellor’s Welcome & 2022 Commencement Address
Where: Derkenne Courtyard, Shortland Building.
When: Wednesday 2nd March, 10.30 am till 12 pm.
Meet your Vice-Chancellor Professor Alex Zelinsky AO as he welcomes you to the University of Newcastle for 2022 with a commencement address outlining his vision for your student journey.
Hot on the Heels of their Latest Video Release “June”, 2021 UoN Band Comp Winners SlapJack will be playing at the Vice-Chancellor’s Welcome in the Derkenne Courtyard. Catch them playing at 10.30 am.
Stick around for a Q&A with the VC plus coffee vouchers, FREE cold drinks and doughnuts (GF).
Everyone who attends is invited to head to Park on the Hill for BBQ and gelato courtesy of UNSA – University of Newcastle Students’ Association.
At 11.30am you can Catch M.E.N (the band) at Park on the Hill.
M.E.N is a new all-female supergroup combining the talents of singer-songwriters Maeve Grant , Ella Day & Nina Samson.
